ALLÁ EN LOS JARDINES DE SALLEY (DOWN BY THE SALLEY GARDENS)
Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet;
| Allá en los jardines de Salley mi amor y yo nos encontramos;
|
In a field by the river my love and I did stand,
| En un prado junto al río mi amor y yo nos encontrábamos,
|
EL AMANTE HABLA DE LA ROSA EN SU CORAZÓN (THE LOVER TELLS OF THE ROSE IN HIS HEART)
All things uncomely and broken, all things worn out and old,
| | Todas las cosas feas y rotas, todas las cosas gastadas y viejas,
| |
The wrong of unshapely things is a wrong too great to be told;
| | El mal de las cosas informes es un mal demasiado grande para ser dicho;
| |
ÉL DESEA LAS TELAS DEL CIELO (HE WISHES FOR THE CLOTH OF HEAVEN)
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
| Si tuviese yo las telas bordadas del cielo,
|
LOS HOMBRES MEJORAN CON LOS AÑOS (MEN IMPROVE WITH THE YEARS)
I am worn out with dreams;
| Estoy cansado de sueños;
|
LA CANCIÓN DE ÆNGUS ERRANTE (THE SONG OF WANDERING ÆNGUS)
I went out to the hazel wood,
| Salí al bosque de avellanos,
|
When I had laid it on the floor
| Cuando la hube dejado en el suelo
|
Though I am old with wandering
| Aunque ya estoy viejo de vagar
|

¡Sorpresa!
